OUR STORY
1st Generation Farmers
Kenndarr Farms is located on the top of the North Mountain in Garland, Nova Scotia. The farm is owned and operated by Ben and Taylor, and the many hands that offer their help when needed.

The name Kenndarr comes from Ben's late grandfather, who used to own and operate his own cattle farm on the South Mountain. In 2017, Ben began growing vegetables and established a small hop farm in his parents back yard. Not long after securing his own spot on the North Mountain, we bought our first three heifers. It didn't take long until we began growing our herd one by one, while even adding some sheep, chicken and eventually pigs into the mix.

At Kenndarr Farm, we are proud to be a first-generation farm. We understand that producing high-quality beef and pork is essential to providing healthy and safe food for our community. We take great care in the raising and feeding of our animals to ensure that the beef and pork we provide is of the highest quality. We are passionate about our work and we take great pride in knowing that our products are nourishing our community. Our goal is to operate our farm sustainably and provide our customers with farm-to-table products.
